Can You Feel It?

The evidence is all around me. I can hear it, if I listen. I can feel it. It’s a quiet, subtle sound that’s building and it speaks of harmony. It speaks of love. It’s picking up momentum and its voice is strong, yet gentle, unlike the other noise and chatter demanding my attention. It cuts straight to my core shining light on the darkness and fears I still need to face.

It’s always been there only I’m becoming more aware of it. I’m choosing to listen to it. What will you listen to and how will you respond? It begins with us.

    • Thank you, Susan. I’m glad you enjoyed it. This video came up on my Facebook, as memories of when I shared it awhile ago, and I didn’t remember it; but, when I watched it, seemed like it was just what I needed to hear. So true when you say it begins with us. Happy Wednesday, my friend. Hope you have a great day! 🙂

  1. Phewwwwwwwwwwwwww Pat!!!! Oh my Goodness, I can really understand what you feel when you listen to that music masterpiece. I don’t have the proper words to express myself to explain what I feel, since it’s so deep, harmonious and in total connection with your heart and your soul! In fact, the sound “AAAAUUUUMMM” that you heard at the beginning of the song is mostly performed by masters and yogis who reached an extremely high level of meditation. I remember that, during a session of of yoga in Madagascar, our yogi master taught us about the sounds performed by those masters, and each of those sounds having a specific meaning. And this one “AAAAUUUMMM” is performed when you reach a highest level and is very very deep. Here is something which may explain it better regarding that sound performance, and I am sure that when you heard that sound you shivered since it went deeply into your soul : http://www.yogapoint.com/articles/om_swami_sivananda.htm

    • I don’t know why but when I started listening to that masterpiece, it reminded me also another song, which maybe doesn’t have the same powerful vibrations as the one you proposed but which made me the same effect when I heard it before. Here is a remixed version of Coldplay’s “Paradise” by the Piano Guys, check it and tell me your views about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cgovv8jWETM

      • Nice, Uma. I liked that video. I know of the Piano Guys, though I’ve not seen that song before. Powerful energy comes across. Thank you for sharing. 🙂

    • Yes — I get what you’re saying, Uma. It resonates and touches a deep part within me in listening to that video. I know it’s what struck me when it showed up on my Facebook memories yesterday. I don’t even remembering sharing it before but it’s just what I needed to hear in listening to it again. Speaks to what I’m feeling these days. Words can’t express. So happy you enjoyed it and spoke to you, too. Thank You!

      • I can understand your feelings Pat. It’s true that hearing such a powerful song really makes you feel into a state of trance which yourself you cannot explain, since it’s so deep and unique. It;s very very beautiful, I really loved it too!

        • Hi Uma – I’m sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you on your comments.

It’s true the video and music takes you into a type of trance. I don’t know what that is or what it’s doing but I like it. Makes me feel connected to another dimension — a place I’m familiar with but that I’ve forgotten. 🙂

I would love to hear from you. . .thank you for stopping by.
